The Jeff Koons Interview - Art Book


The objective of this University project was to design a 130 x 200mm portrait booklet of 12-32 pages cover using the assigned interview text and relevant images (we were allowed to illustrate/edit the images but had to include the original). The interview I got assigned was “I Believe In Not Making Judgments”: The Jeff Koons Interview. 

Jeff Koons makes the same artwork over and over again, in different colours or versions. He also has several works which feature popular figures (Michael Jackson and Hulk) and consumer goods (basketballs, vacuum cleaners, etc.). His work is considered to be Neo Pop art, however, for my concept I chose to lean towards the initial pop art style.

Physical Copy
I used a reflective silver cover to resemble Jeff Koons' famous sculptures. I also did thread binding for the physical copy.
